I'm just finished project survey and public consultant for ICT requirements for underserved areas and/or underserved group within the community (“universal service

targets”) with Paisley Consultant Sdn Bhd for SKMM.

Assessment study has being conducted prior to fully engaging into the related developmental initiatives for the underserved groups. The main requirements of the study are as follows:

• • To determine the specific requirements of the each target groups;

  • To ascertain the most appropriate communications technologies, services and applications which would best serve each target group;

  • To identify human capital developments scheme that meet the requirements of each target groups;

  • To recommend holistic approach for the implementation of basic communications access for the target groups which includes the sustainability features e.g. socio-economic development for the underserved groups; and

  • To establish several key outcomes to be expected from the implementation of USP program for the underserved groups.
